so bbq starter finally broke after many a use, lucky for me there is a spare, so i can still bbq, Kyle Orton was named the starter for the bears, we'll just have to wait n see how that goes, looking forward to this weekend so that the fantasy football season can begin

So band made it into the hall of fame, now for my one day off this week to get some grocceries done, maybe clean up a little

So I decided today to start writing a blog, I don't know why exactly, maybe because I felt it was time to change my website and this was all I could really come up with. So anyway, I spent my sunday at work making this work and some other minor changes to the site, like taking everything off of it. Anyway, this week I got a new TV, nothing too fancy just a 32" LCD for in my bedroom, along with this I purchased a wireless media center extender, which took forever to get working, spent about 2 hours on the phone with linksys and it still wasnt working, so they decided to escalate it to a level 3 technician, anyway after yelling at him a bit, which I was surprised I did since I use to have to take that abuse, he mentioned something, which was my router had to be set to a specific channel and not on auto, after making that switch my DMA2100 work perfect. I would have to say that thats pretty dumb thing to have to set and why they dont post this on there website is also another stupid thing. I read many posts on people having the same problem on the linksys support forums and no one from linksys had respond with that, anyway i am well aware of how bad support departments can be. Which brings me to the next difficulty of this past week. Well as most people know the football season is starting as well as most tv shows, so because of my variety of hours I work I decided to get a HDPVR from rogers so i dont miss any well football games, i can always download tv shows. Any hoo went to the rogers store got my pvr after a bit of account hassles, brought it home and well it took about 10 minutes to boot up, which really didnt seem right, when it finally comes up it says to me that the hard drive has failed, yay. So the next day I go to rogers to get another, but guess what they dont have any. They tell me they're getting some at 3pm so I should come back then. So I go home, twiddle my thumbs till about 4 just to be safe. I go back and guess what they dont have any, the girl who told they were coming in made a mistake and read the shipment going to another store. Bob was not amused, anyway got their phone number and gave them a call the next day and I managed to get one. This one worked but not completly, when they activated it they didnt give me any of my extra channels, so I tried the whole automatic re-authorization of your digital boxes but nothing. So I called rogers the tech I got fixed it up in a couple of minutes and apologize for the stupid workers in the store. He then transfered me to the business department because I wanted to add the sunday ticket to my rogers. The guy who I get does not know what the Super Sports Pak is after about 5 minutes of hearing him breath and look for it, he puts me on mute, after being on mute for about 4 minutes, I say hello to see if hes actually still there, he responds yes im still looking, so during that time I found where I could add it to my account on the website, but before I can tell this douche bag this he hangs up, doesnt even call back. Anyway everything is right now but that was a lot of effort for stuff that shouldnt be so difficult. So I think im pretty set with my current setup for a while. Its almost time to go home, definetly looking forward to the steak I have waiting for me, not too mention my one day weekend.
